Product Description
3M Scotch-Weld Acrylic Adhesive Accelerator A3-2 is the accelerator component used with compatible 3M Scotch-Weld DP8600, DP8700, and DP8900 series acrylic adhesive bases. When combined at the specified 10:1 base-to-accelerator ratio, the system develops handling strength in 1 to 2 hours, depending on the selected base product. The non-sag mixed adhesive supports controlled placement and is designed to tolerate compatible oily or minimally prepared surfaces. Because A3-2 is not a complete adhesive by itself, the matching base, dispensing equipment, and process conditions must be selected together.
